Sergeant_Skyrim
**After I took all pics I realized that I meant 21 instead of 20 for depth** Alright, so I don't have enough room to do a regular rectangular box for a 15" sub with the ability to slide it into the trunk from either the cabin or the trunk, so I'm planning on being able to slide this box in from the cabin. It's like a stretched pentagon. You might actually be able to understand better once I post some pics, so here goes... Here's a pic of what the front would look like: http://sphotos.xx.fb...149626966_n.jpg Here's a pic of the top view: http://sphotos.xx.fb...295853459_n.jpg Here's some of the math I used: http://a8.sphotos.ak...741617463_n.jpg Lastly, some specs based on the math: http://sphotos.xx.fb...353596940_n.jpg Just wanting to double check and make sure that the math I used was right and all, I first started off by finding the surface area of the front piece/baffle (minus .75 for wood thickness on sides) and got 451.1875in^2. I then took a desired gross volume of 5ft^3, multiplied by 1728 to get in^3 and got 8640in^3. Divided this by the 451.1875 to get a depth of ~19.25. Added 0.75 for wood and got an overall depth of about 21in. From here I found everything else. So all in all, box height will be 17 until it slopes off on the sides, and then 9 when it does hit each side. Width at bottom is 34, top is 18. Total depth is 21. Please let me know if this looks good or if there is anything that I need to correct. Thanks! =) EDIT: Am off to bed as it's 1am now, brain has been shutting down gradually over the past few hours as I was trying to figure this out so I'll be back to check in the morning Build in progress

big dee
You should try the Torres box calculater to check you figures. That's what I do
Sergeant_Skyrim
Your not supposed to bump the thread but once s day. Might get locked for doing that. Sorry, posted it before I went to bed yesterday and just bumped it this morning You should try the Torres box calculater to check you figures. That's what I do Can't, look at the box shape. Here's even a picture of all my maffs, just wanting somebody to take a look and double check everything since I can't use the calc to do this entirely. Basically wanting to make sure I haven't messed something up. http://sphotos.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ash3/534535_3466637697387_1014379508_33208906_229571395_n.jpg Build in progress
Joe X
It seems you are not accounting on the U turn of the port the 4.75 in lateral length of the centerline.
