Mikey Bates
lets say you have a 4 channel amp that puts out 50rms x 4 @ 4 ohms... 75 rms x 4 @ 2 ohms.....and bridged 150rms x 2 @ 4 ohms. Can i take one bridged lead and run it to voice coil A on my sub (which is 4 ohms) and run the other to voice coil B on my sub (also 4 ohms) That way each voice coil is getting 150rms from the amp, and the amp is getting a 4 ohm load from each voice coil. yes, or no? does this work, is it a do, or don't? Junior Russell
sounds like itll work to me but with a 4 channel one side almost always has high or low pass an the other just has high pass....so dont know if yours does or not but if it does it might be an issue http://www.youtube.c...e1?feature=mheehttp://www.stevemead...87#entry1993187 JVC KD-R530 head unit VVME INNO-D1500 sub amp Kenwood KAC-8402 amplifierPioneer 2-way 6.5 X2 @ 4 ohms DTI Audio 6.5 X2 @ 4 ohmsbox: 4.24 ft^3 tuned to 61 hertz (port walls fell off and dissapeared )
