jigalow43
My original idea is to run 4 Earthquake DBXI 15's off a 2500.1 memphis mojo amp and 3 Earthquake DBXI 10's on a memphis 1100.1 amp for some high bass. I'll be putting it in a 04' Denali. This setup of course isn't set in stone cause I really can't find any real reviews on these subs. I know a while back ago they was really good, but I haven't seen any in years now. My next question... Should I just go with 2 15" subs with a higher rms then going with the 4 15's ? How much of a difference with there be? I designed a box for the 4 ruffly 16cf tuned a 33.5hz. I have read that a lot of people like the tuning around 33hz. I have 1 15" in there now and it just isn't cutting it on the 1100.1 lol or what about 1 big 15" on the 2500.1? Any advice will be helpful... Thanks... corey0928
If you have the proper space and build a good box the 4 15s should be louder. Ditch the idea of adding 10s, if you want more "higher" bass look into getting a good set of mid bass speakers. This might get locked because you kinda have a vs thread. jigalow43
Yea, tell me about it... I've changing ideas over and over...lol trying to decide what way to go. With the 3 10's I just figured I already had the amp and I'm only looking a 300 more dollars to add them to it. I already have the 400w memphis amp for the components I'm putting in the front and back. My biggest problem is I like sq as much as I do spl...lol

Thats what I was kinda worried about... and there really isn't reviews on them out there. What kind of 12s you got? So whats the thought's on a Orion hcca152 with just running one of them on the 2500.1 amp? Edited April 18, 2012 by jigalow43
