GTOguy
I think after I get out of class today I am going to video a distance test for my stock door speakers just to have a base line to compare the Pioneers to. I will be sure to record it. 2004 Pontiac GTO- bolt ons, bagged, CCW's, SQzzz Check Out my build log Follow me on IG: @watsupitsdenny

Hollowstylez
That's a good idea to have a documented way to compare the before and after.
GTOguy
That's a good idea to have a documented way to compare the before and after. thanks that's what my thinking. But Honestly I'm not sure on camera will give it justice because honestly in the car these speakers sound pretty bad and I am realizing that in this time I don't have bass. But I think I am going to hold off on installing them and the amp until I have rear battery(s). Which may be pretty soon just need to buy them and 1/0 wire. I need to decide between whether or not to keep my spare tire because 2 or 3 Deka 9A31's would be a lot more attractive to me than 1 but I don't know if my rear suspension can support the weight in stock form. The car will be getting upgraded springs and shocks at some point. Quite possibly a BC coilover set up. Honestly a spare tire won't be too helpful because I am going to bolt my box down so I'd pretty much be out of luck whether I have a spare or not. 2004 Pontiac GTO- bolt ons, bagged, CCW's, SQzzz Check Out my build log Follow me on IG: @watsupitsdenny
vrollin
Nice GTO mate, can say the pioneers would go well, had a set of them, or very similar to them in my VX Calais (4 door variant of yours with a few luxury spec odds and ends) and they went hard. Just make sure you deaden those doors, makes a world of difference! Heres what I had, was supercharged 6 though no v8 but I still had fun with it;
Quiet
GTOs FTMFW! I got to drive a 90 mile trip in a 5.7L GTO once. Even though the roads were wet and I couldn't push it that was the most fun I've had in a car. That car can't get traction on a wet road for shit, tho LOL I'm all tuned in for this. Nice pick on the Zapco too. 2007 Pacifica Rebuild. Less quiet. Still not loud.
