First 2 weeks with Pioneers new AV-8400BH

OP or anyone with info... about the double usb would you recommend using the $70 Pioneer cdiu201s for use with iphone. and just a regular ipod cord the other for a ipod or is the other $45 pioneer cdiu201v better option for just an ipod

the 70.00 cable is REQUIRED for advanced app mode use and to use things like netflix . However i have successfully used pandora and the unit without the 70.00 cable but no video. so basically the stupid cable is needed or else you mind as well save yourself 250.00 and by the 4400bh. i bought an iphone holder that will allow me to anchor the heavy cable to it so i pretty much just plug the phone in. i am CONVINCED that using the cable as is would result in the eventual breaking of the male connector and the damage of the phone female receptacle

How do you like the Mixtrax feature? I have the app on my phone but I know the Pioneer units with it have more flexibility and options with it.

i havent used it have no plans to. In my opinion its a useless and frivilous thing to put so much work into when they dropped the ball on several other things.

but thats just my humble opinion.

I always use a 99cent relay to do the parking brake bypass.. Works the same.

hows this unit working out for everyone really interested in getting one i here to by pass it a standard bosch relay pins 85,87 ground 86 remote and 30 is parking break 50 cents for one in the junk yard and 2 mins to wire it up hows the netflixs and the vevo working on app mode????
