Zapanater
Almost bought one of these back in the day. Might have been fun for a bit. Suprisingly beefy components, although like n8 said, about half as much as it needs. 2015 Subaru Outback. That is all, I refuse to touch it. Bigsix
Yup, missing parts... My DAT 2500 has about 3 times as much shit jammed in its case. 1999 Lincoln Town Car-(build underway) - (2) SA15s, 4th order, DAT 2500.1, O2 mids n highs, 250a alt, HC 2400, Big 3.... 1994 Pontiac T/A for speeding tickets.- - Currently on jack stands, wanting to be a real race car "Your local forecast, all the ladies in the metro area should expect to see 8 inches tonight" - The Todd Decaf, on 01 November 2011 - 02:38 PM, said: i provide the ammo for destruction, the trigger finger is connected to the volume knob tho URBAN GORILLA AUDIO
8ight
Just looking at the inside, doesn't look like it would do 5500w. But then again the MRP-2000 doesn't look like its suppose to do 2250 Alpine tends to user high-output MOSFETs and other components and makes up for the subsequent ripple with larger than normal, high quality capacitor banks. Still a cheap way to make an amp do rated power cleanly, but that's just Alpine's thing. EDIT: Sorry, ignore me.. Don't wanna derail this thread. Felon312
Thats because that amp is 5500 watts peek..... that amps at 1ohm is only rated at 3200 watts rms
Guest
Thats because that amp is 5500 watts peek..... that amps at 1ohm is only rated at 3200 watts rms peak means nothing. and this amp is overrated. you'd be super lucky to get like 1800w out of it, as has been discussed before
