not sure but i know my car sounds damn good btw if you get one make sure its the 3.8l engine

i have an 08' impala and i recently just put a car audio system i mine. i upgraded big 3 with 1/0 cable and are using stock alternator and battery. i have a BC2000d and an sony xm-754hx and 2 12" cvx wired to 1 ohm. pioneer avh-p3400bh head unit. everything done myself. it's fine. nothing will mess up man.

I have an 08 impala (no onstar) with a MA 3600d, re sx 18, big 3, and a 220 amp alt, that shit Kicks and no volt drop and my car never light on fire. And did it all myself so it isn't that hard

Elyse most of us have all has systems in every car we've owned for many many years, i've been running high powered stereos in every car i've owned, in 15 years ive had systems, I have only had 1 alternator go bad, which was in a 68 impala that was probably in need of replacement anyways, and from all the other cars just a couple of betteries which were covered by a warrantee, i have replaced 20 times as many subs/ amps/ head units/ speakers as I have any car part that had to do with anything required to run the stereo.

That being said, don't worry about it and who ever told you that has absolutely no clue what they are talking about.

I had and 04 with a crescendo 5500 worth in power lol never had a problem with the car mine was a 3.4 with 250xxx miles driven every day. Gave it to my sister still daily driven lol
