Wanted to know if there's ANY way I can intergrate that monitor with a double DIN head unit that has video out. Also need to know what monting kit I will need to install a double din. I keep trying to Google the answers but it keeps giving me years other than 2006. thanks. Oh well a flip out unit will serve him justice, if thats the case with the double din not being usable. Was almost certain you could use one though. Flip out units should still have an A/V out that you can hook an external monitor up to. I'll do some digging and see what I can find about your overhead unit being able to be tied into an aftermarket setup. Every other diagram will load except that one, just my luck, huh lol. Do you have any pics of the radio area? And where exactly is the DVD unit located? Is it an all-in-one unit mounted on the ceiling, or is the actual DVD player in the center console and just the monitor mounted on the roof? I'll get him to snap a pic of it and send it to me. I do not recall him having 2 separate units in the center console; one for DVD and one for the CD, I think they both use the same disc slot 'cause I know he can read MP3 DVD's and such. Trying to get a feeler and see if it'll be a simple wire swap job, or getting some kind of aftermarket harness/adapter for it.
