Keep it up sir. for some stupid reason ford built both doors differently with the sails. The sails aren't symmetrical. In order for me to be able to remove the right sail, I need to cut 1/3 pegs off of the back which leaves it stable enough. For the driver side I had to cut off 2/3 of the pegs to keep it stable so I need to engineer another way to make the pods removable but also stable. You couldn't remove the door panels otherwise because sails come out after door panel, and door panel would hit the sails during removal. Long story short pegs had to me removed if I ever wanted to take out sails or door panel. To answer your question yes, it will be covering the lip except for the bottom one which you won't be able to see anyway. My Red zx2 Build Log My Black zx2 Build Log My Red zx2 UBL
