GoonSquadSTL
Hey guys, I was just wondering how to figure out how low a song hits, so I don't damage my subwoofers. The song I was wondering about is My shit Bang - E-40. Thanks Quote ___________________________________________________________________________________ -1997 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme Coupe- -2 12'' Alpine Type R's- -Sony xPlode Head Unit- -Planet Audio AC2000.2 Amplifier- Anarchy Series 2-Channel Amplifier RMS Power Rating 2 ohms: 700 Watts x 2 chan. Sergeant_Skyrim
You open Audacity, drag the track in, highlight any section of the song where the bass hits for at least 5 seconds length, then go to "Analyze" at the top of Audacity, then "Plot Spectrum". EDIT: Or you can just not bother learning how to do it and have other people do it for you! I kid, I kid... getlocivic
wayyyyyyyyyyyy high bass 56hz and 42 hz never played em before i peak in the 33 34hz range.. found out if you slow the song down 35% it gets down to 35hz (instead of42hz) and the drop is
HatersGonnaHate
Yea the slowed version sounds great and hits hard enough to jiggle by balls a little. I have to reply to this. Ok, i respect your opinion, but seriously? 56 is "wayyyyyyyyyyyy high bass" and you have "never played em before" ? What is your crossover point? 35hz with a 36db slope? Sorry I mean, yea 56hz is starting to get up in the "bass" range but its not "way high".
