DruLoco
Im currently running an alpine CDE-102 and it's alright only has 1 set of pre amps though, and it's starting to act up (shutting off and coming back on when i press certain buttons screen gets messed up sometimes ect.) I'm thinking about getting the pioneed DEH-p7400 http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_42777_Pioneer-DEH-P7400HD.html I'm just wondering if anyone is or has used this head unit and how they like it? And will i notice i difference going from 2v pre amps to 4v pre amps? Also, will i notice any difference in quality going from 1 pre amp to 3 sets? ( i have amps for front stage and subs) Mk4 jetta 2 point slow Kenwood KDC-X496 hifonics HFI-1000d Obsidian 12 in a 2 cube box 34hz some shitty orion 4 channel 2 pairs of infinty components
blkgp_03
It looks like a solid unit. I personally have not used it or know anyone who has. What is your budget though? You will notice a big difference from 2v to 4 volt. With having 3 sets of preouts you will have subs front and rear for amps. Clip city bitch, clip clip city bitch. 10's, 12's, 15's, goin up in flames bitch. c0dy
I have a Premier DEH from a few years ago and love it. I don't use a bass knob, so the one button push to get to the sub output is nice (it also lets you choose between a few LPF crossover frequencies if you want to). I use the iPod connector with no issues (using the deck to choose songs is a bit cumbersome, but you can also choose to use your iPod to choose the songs). It also disconnects so you can use a thumb drive, too - which I did for a while, and that worked fine. DruLoco
What is your budget though? looking to spend no more than 150 if i can. also been looking at some kenwood excelons not sure what i'd like to get.....the only thing i like about the 4700 over the kenwoods is the multipul color choices and the included usb wire from the rear. And i've had pioneers in the past, have no expirience with kenwoods.
