Because if not you'd probably loose a bit. Any fiberglass? 45 degree angles in the enclosure? How much port area do you have too? These are all factors that will affect your overall score. Sealing off the box from the rear is always good measure for increased pressure in the cabin, since now all the pressure will be in the front of the vehicle. This should solve your problem. You should with ease be able to hit 148+. Toby Ratcliffe
I would check to see if you are tuned properly. Check your voltage, gains, crossovers. Get clamped to make sure you are outputting the right amount of power, etc.... Then let someone look at your box, and find out where you are losing deebeezz. Ram1989custom
138? I would say seal it up like everybody else said. I can only imagine that should fix it. 138 is less than what my single 12 hits haha. Hope you figure it out! Deadly hertzz
No not broken in at all maybe week or two since the install I figured that would be a big factor and also im gonna seal it off b4 the next event and yes that's tl score an yes way louder with windows down an I set the gain by volt meter using a chart for the rms and ohm load to set to a certain voltage also I'm thinking about ordering an overdrive line driver should this help also? I'd say a line driver'd help. Last week I ordered and installed a Soundstream BX-20Z, which is pretty much the same thing, just with a 'bass restorer,' and the woofer is working MUCH less, but Its noticeably louder, and things are flexing much more. Really gotta get around to car reinforcement. Which by the way do you have any sort of reinforcement to keep down flex? Shouldn't affect your score too bad, but every little thing adds up. Line drivers/input voltage boosters are usually a must have. Also make sure your woofers are nice and broken in before seeking accurate peak readings. ;-) Quote THE TC SYSTEM: >2003 Honda Civic DX coupe >1 TC Sounds TC-3000 1.4QVC >3cu ft 6" aeroport tuned to 30hz port⊂ forward facing sealed from trunk >US amps Xterminator XT-2000D (soon to go) >Pioneer DEH3000ib >Soundstream BX-20Z Digital Bass Processor >Knukonceptz 1/0 gauge wire >Knukonceptz 1/0 gauge wire big
