ChevyBoy Posted December 23, 2007 Report Posted December 23, 2007 does anyone know if the 40gb ps3 plays ps2 games nope it doesnt. as far as i know, the only one that will are the 20 gigs and the 60 gigs. theyre the only ones with backwards compatibility. some people say they got lucky and were able to play a few games on the 40s though.
AI James Posted December 23, 2007 Report Posted December 23, 2007 no it does not play ps2 games, if you want that functionality youll need to find one of the older 60gb units or the 20gb one
Torres Posted December 23, 2007 Report Posted December 23, 2007 backwards compatibility is cool and all...but i dont think i'd be sad if i didnt have it. i mean...i dont play any ps1 games anymore. probably happen with the ps3 too. might try and sell all my games to help my ps3 fund too
