Yirgacheffe
Actually not to sure that you have to buy a kit, because you have hinges and lock case already original. Only problem is to switch them. No matter what you "Deicide" I'm tuned in for this thread! Quote Watts up?

Yirgacheffe
When I did Academy Sheet Metal years ago I tried suicide doors. Short story is to open the door and look at the place where the lock case is and measure the corresponding location with dimensions from the existing hinges and do the same as for the lock case and pin. I did however extend the hinge attachment of the body a little bit. I did the work in a "Dataliner" ( http://www.datalinerusa.com/ ) for easy measurement and because of the cars damaged bodywork. Ofc it's easier to buy a new custom fitted kit, but I feel that some people almost forget they already got hinges and lock cases, but factory-fitted to the wrong end of the now new preferred. Nobody said it would be easy but if one can make the change with the cars own parts I think it's an opportunity to save money and also learn the basics and be even more proud of the result.
