adam43633 Posted May 1, 2012 Report Posted May 1, 2012 if i have 2 speakers next to each other can i run 1 speaker wire from my amp to the 1st speaker then have a jumper from 1st speaker to 2nd speaker so i don't have to run 2 speaker wires back to amp. would this affect how many watts each speaker is getting?

SmallTruk Posted May 2, 2012 Report Posted May 2, 2012 He wants to run a single wire then split it at the speakers to power each one instead of running two wires from the amp to each speaker, all in parallel from the sounds of it. So the load the amp sees will be the same with or without the second wire. I have a single run of 12ga speaker wire from the amp to the door then it splits into 2 16ga wires to each mid. That's what you're asking about, right?
