SnowDrifter
No where near enough information here. What is your alternator? How much power? What else have you done to your electrical? If this is your charging voltage, your alternator is taking a crap. Get a new one. Skullz
How many batteries do you have? Get a DMM and check the actual voltage before relying on that volt meter as it may be off. skittlesRgood
first 2 posts nailed it. where is the voltage meter hooked up to? cuetip
ok stock alt, just 1 and its the stock battery, and big 3 under the hood... i was getting this before and the belts needed to be replaced, so i had a buddy do that.. and the meter is connected to my remote wire on my amp Edited May 10, 2012 by cuetip
Guest
the red + wire on the meter is connected to the remote wire? it should be: red to amp battery + blue to remote black to amp battery - if thats how its wired, and its still 12.9, then the alt is going bad. Guest
well that would explain the low voltage haha. remote wire is usually in the 12's edit: post back when the wiring is corrected though, just to see if the problem persists.
