RooTxBeeR
2:1 isnt the magical number in bandpasses. and if this is your first one, i seriously think you should have a good designer draw one up for you edit: but if you want to learn and understand them, then by all means go for it I will give it a shot, but if not I will go back onto that. I am confident in this box lol, seems nice, but what do i know! Rich65
here is the info u seek http://www.stevemead...__fromsearch__1 Yeah thats was a very helpful thread, 2:1 ratio at least gets people pointed in the right direction, Ill still talk to the manufacturer and research the ratio a little more to get more of a concensus. SmallTruk
Just get a deaign made for you. Maybe it's just me but if I was getting $90 paychecks I'd wanna make sure everything is correct before a blow all my cash on a sheet of MDF and some glue that I end up scrapping later due to a poor design. RooTxBeeR
Lol my paychecks aren't really paychecks but thats irrellivent. I understand what your saying though and I do agree a bit, Regardless, It will be a learning experience, I have only built one box before and its the one I am currently using. Hopefully sanitarium can chip Edit: Also heres a question. The subs are rated for 300 watts, I will be putting 600 @ 2 ohm to them, how would putting over RMS effect a sealed box? I know for ported, more RMS you want a smaller box, so how would that effect the sealed section, because the sealed section effects the ported section lol.
