HOW TO DETERMINE AN ENCLOSURE SIZE (CUFT)

Recommended Posts

HOW CAN SOMEONE DETERMINE THE BEST ENCLOSURE SIZE (CUFT) FOR THE BEST PERFORMANCE OF THEIR SUBWOOFER

THE ENCLOSURE SIZE SHOULD BE WITHOUT ANY DISPLACEMENT OF SUB AND PORT AREA

I CURRENTLY HAVE A 12" T3 T600 SUB AND WOULD LOVE TO BUILD A BOX FOR IT SO THAT IT COULD PLAY TO THE BEST OF IT ABILITY AT A FREQUENCY OF 35HZ

IF ANYONE CAN HELP ME WITH DETERMINING THE INTERNAL VOLUME IN CUFT WITHOUT PORT AREA AND SUB DISPLACEMENT I WOULD BE MORE THAN HAPPY

THANKS FOR YOUR TIME

HIOPE TO GET SOME HELP HERE

OR JUST SAYING I HAVE A BOX BUILT ALREADY AT 38HZ IN A 1.75CUFT AND IM NOT IMPRESSED AT ALL WITH THE PERFORMANCE

PEOPLE SAY TO BUILD THE BOX TO 2.2, 2.5 AND EVEN 2.7CUFT BUT I IM SURE WHICH IS THE BEST CUFT THE BOX SHOULD BE INTERNALLY

The subs maker will give you a recommended size. Use that. If you can't figure out how to design a box then pay someone for a design.
