Its funny that some people go on and on about "legal" scores... Especially if its just a daily pounder that maybe competes on occasion... I know I dont drive around with my car sealed up and my head stuck in the far right corner of my dash... a metered score by the headrest, with windows part way or all the way open is a better representation IMO... 'cause thats how loud it is when I'm giving a demo or out cruising around... Never did a demo and said wait, let me roll up all my windows, tilt my seat forward and jam your head down in that corner...

lol this shit never stops. its just a standard used to compare. you dont drive around with your head in the kick and your doors open but you didnt comment on that being stupid. you dont drive with your doors open or give demos with your door open do you? thats what all the other metering options he used were. why arent those stupid too?

yeah hes right. its more just a standard way to unify what a worldwide accepted score is. db drag, nespl, and some of the other top orgs under the db drag style competitionj use this as a guideline, so its just good to know this score for all the big competitors out there to see and approve. yes windows and stuff open are more realistic at the headrest, but meca rules are a far cry from what is considered legal in db drag. i think its cool to set it up like this so you can see all aspects of the metering. hell, 5 years ago the kick score would have been the acccepted norm in meca.
