ROLEXrifleman
What do yo mean by best for the gun? Your home defense gun should be reliable with whatever ammo you choose to put in it. With that said Winchester Lawman, Speer Gold Dot or Federal Golden Sabr ammp would be excellent choices. Hornady XTP and Cor-Bon would be worth looking into as well. 124gr bullets on all loads. Ballen194
I have the sigma sw9ve. I've shot a ton of different brands through that bitch and never had a single problem with any of it. Probably close to 1500 rounds. The cheapest at Walmart which is Winchester brass casing stuff is my ammo of choice. it's all pretty reliable. LT.Smoke
Look into hornady TAP FPD or Corbon DPX both of these rounds are vicious with beautiful expansion and weight retention.... PD rounds will always be more expensive just as an FYI Quote Team MaxRetribution Si Vis Pacem Parabellum Id rather be judged by 12 than carried by 6 Bowhunting- Life Begins and Ends at Full Draw Bowhunting Team Fatal Trajectory Hunt Team http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/49335-sick96vtecaccords-t-line-build/?hl=sick96vtecaccord << Accord Build http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/68498-smokedout08impalas-tline-build/?hl=+sick96vtecaccord << Impala T-line build Rebassed.com for all your music needs 👌

Bigsix
For an HD gun, shoot it a lot, know it well and run a bunch of different HD loads thru it, selecting the one that works best, some brands my group great in your gun, others, not so much. Pick what works best for your specific application. Can get kind of expensive doing it this way, but youll get the best results, and once you know what your gun likes best, just keep a box or 10 on hand and use Winchester white box or another similar cheap ammo for practice and fun.
