metalhead2012
I have been looking for a new more powerful amp. I have a couple options and I am not sure what one I should go with. I dont want to spend more than 200 on it but I want one that will last for a while. Here are two of them that i am looking at. http://www.amazon.com/Hifonics-Hfi1500d-Watt-Block-Amplifier/dp/B003PSCBUQ/ref=sr_1_5?ie=UTF8&qid=1337465076&sr=8-5 http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_23875_MB-Quart-ONX1.1500D.html Please let me know if there is anything else out there in this price range. mnmikeyb
Idk if you NEED 1500watts @1ohm, but if you do I wouldn't go with either of these. I'm no expert in either brand but I'm a firm believer in you get what you pay for. So I'd either bump up your budget 100-200$ for that amount of Watts, or go with a high quality amp that you KNOW will give you clean rated power. mnmikeyb
What sub/s are you trying to power?
Amart88
If you are going to get Hifonics, look at the Brutus series. Most do rated power and are solid for the price. Quote My 2005 s10 blazer build. 4 zcon 18's walled.
mnmikeyb
The MAX you'll see out of those amps is 1400watts and I doubt you'll ever get there. Save up the dough and get a SAX1200 :-P
