2 12's and a 18

Recommended Posts

I've only seen this turn out well a couple times. What vehicle do you have? Maybe sell the 12's and get a second BTL.

fucking this

That, or sell the 18, and recone both bls to 18s? Either or.

is the btl one of the new N series? if so, and if you choose to sell both bl's and buy another btl, how much is in your budget to buy a big amp to power them with the electrical to back it up?

Put the 12s and 18 in seperate boxes and seperate amps and youll be good. If someone says it wont work, their stupid.

well, that's a good first step, but I can't imagine it's something that can be done well just by following a couple rules of thumb. It probably takes a LOT of testing. finding peak frequencies for each driver, graphing frequency responses, etc. there's probably a LOT of trial and error involved as well. On top of all that, you'd have to know what all of the data means, and be able to translate it into the design.

overall, it seems like it takes a lot of time, effort, and likely money to get desirable results.

Just say no to Ground Pounder Customs.

More box builds

some cars do over 170db with one sub, so clearly my two 12"s can do that in my car, with my knowledge too! look out bitches!

I'm with captain stupid.

It's going to work, period. Regardless of box, tuning, and amp of course its going to work.

But so does mexiflush. Or spoilers on 95HP FWD cars. It's just rice to most of us, and I couldnt care less if it worked, it just looks so gay to me. OP, your car your choice

Tell me...does this smell like chloroform to you?

Has to be the fucking stupidest response ive seen in my life. Build to boxes at what you want tgem tuned at, put them in the car, hook it up and slap away. Thats all that required.
