Thewes
If I'm running 2 seperate amps, would it be best to just get 2 seperate 2 channel RCA's and run them to the head unit? Or could I just get one 4 channel RCA and run that instead? I also linking the amps if thats relevant to anything. Another thing, where the fuck do I even plug the RCAs in on the headunit? On my w205 I only see one SW set, a Rear and a Front set, don't tell me I have to buy another alpine accessory to hook these amps up. Pretty new to this, so help me out here. Thanks. Guest MegaloManiac
Yes you can use a 4channel set of rcas(all that matters is there are 4 channels) plug 2 channels into the FRONT and the other 2 channels to the REAR

Bryan
on the sw it means "sub woofer" you plug it up in there...not just cause it says subwoofer but because when you go to your eq and it shows sb you can turn it off and on...basically it cuts the audio signal from your H/U to your amp...its most helpful when you say i swear my subs dont work officer...cause it will leave the amp on just no signal to it... Guest MegaloManiac
Thanks guys, 4 channel seems to be the easiest. So are you sure using the front/rear will work? Just leave the subwoofer spot empty? well you never stated what the channels were going to be used for. every set of those rca outputs are fullrange. you use sub for sub just because you can fiddle with a sub setting on deck. but for your components use the front or rears. if running active front=tweeter rear = mids generally. bassprodigy
the easiest way would be to get 2 sets of Y cables, plug one in each of the SW outs, then plug the 4chnl rcas into each out on the Y cable.........
