john253a
yes you could do that and have sub/port up or sub fwn port up if it fits
Hotdog
Manufacture recommends 3.84929 ft ³ per sub after displacement. you will still get 5.5ft^3 with this box and just remake the port. I don't know where it says so but take a look at this link: http://www.audioque....ing-_ep_68.html you right but I nija'd you on the one on post #15 Quote (NEW) 2004 F-150 Build Log -->http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/192208-hotdogs-f-150-build-log/ 2003 Mercury Mountaineer Build Log --> http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/114380-hotdogs-2003-mountaineer-build-log-20-removed/page__gopid__1602379#entry1602379 2008 Equinox Build Log --> http://www.stevemead...g/#entry1475764
john253a
cutting off the bottom is a big job To me it would seem easier to cut at the bottom. I would not want to redo the top baffle and the speaker cut outs. Much easier to cut the bottom and redo the port. How would you go about cutting the top? idd undo it and rip it off, the only reason would be as that way you could change it up and put sub fwd at least if you can lie it down you will have more options Edited May 22, 2012 by john253a
IndianaBassHead
the top actually isnt attached yet. It's sitting in my living room with the subs mounted to it. I was going to put it in tomorrow. So literally all I'd have to do is re cut that piece and mount the subs under the port Quote Audio Build Ride: 2002 Chevy Blazer 4 door Head Unit: Pioneer deh-80prs Subs: 4 DC Level 3 15's in a 4th order wall designed by Trent Choate and Jeff Smith Subs Amp: AQ 3500.1 at wired at .5 (soon to be 2) Mids/Highs Amp: Skar 85.4 Mids/Highs: Skar components Electrical: Mechman 270 amp alt, 2 runs of Knu 0 gauge, XS Power d3400, 2 Deka Group 9a31 Build log : http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/167658-indianabasshead-blazer-dc-audio-4th-order-wall-build/ Perfomance Build 2003 Nissan 350z Greddy Twin Turbo, 3" Test pipes with Borla high-flow cats, Crawford Performance Plenum, Greddy E-manage Ultimate ECU Exedy Racing Clutch, Built Motor by Racing Innovations Greddy Over-fender aero kit (1 of 20 ever made), 19" Racing Hart r5 pro wheels 466rwhp Bike 2008 Midnight Blue Kawasaki ZX-14 Stretched 8" and lowered, Brocks Sidewinder exhaust, Power Commander

IndianaBassHead
yup! I was so close to gluing and screwing it in today but it started raining so I didn't! glad that happened now! lol. But I'm hoping to have it done by this weekend and I'll for sure post some pics of the outcome. I will most likely do that wall. Also, anyone have any ideas what kind of numbers I should put up with it walled?
