CleanSierra Posted May 29, 2012 Report Posted May 29, 2012 So okay, you're using 3/4 MDF or birch correct? With that variable out of the way, here we go: You have one MONSTER of an L-port. The piece of wood making up the one side of the port(as the other is the side of the box) would be 13.75 deep by your height of 34.5". The other piece that makes your L would be 7.6"(roughly 7 5/8 of an inch) and the same height of 34.5". That type of port gets you tuned to about 33(just under). I also added for .20 in bracing displacements. Quote Im not the one you want to try to troll. Just a fyi for you.
CleanSierra Posted May 29, 2012 Report Posted May 29, 2012 Here is your cut sheet. Pay no attention to the tuning listed, Torres has it right: Quote Im not the one you want to try to troll. Just a fyi for you.
detroitdb Posted May 29, 2012 Author Report Posted May 29, 2012 thanks a bunch!!!! i have a subs up/ports back tuned @ 40hz =148.5 on termlab @ the dash...( my ports are choking) and no lo-lows either...so i think flippin in to a wall should be the wisest and loudest option. you guys agree?
