trying to tune a wall with 2 18's messed with torres (cant import screen) so 36" tall 43" wide 20" deep..trying to tune between 30-33hz...i get the cut out of the box, i cant figure out the dimensions of the port...slot port 34.5 x 4.75. 30" length but the calc shows physical length of 23.75" i dont get it....re calc shows it completley diff....and i know you guys swear by torres so i just want to only have to do this once...sub displacement =.50 and im using 1 extra baffle...

port is gonna be behind driver side, top to bottom, i can go longways if you think it will be better...i have the room to go either way...

So okay, you're using 3/4 MDF or birch correct? With that variable out of the way, here we go:

You have one MONSTER of an L-port. The piece of wood making up the one side of the port(as the other is the side of the box) would be 13.75 deep by your height of 34.5".

The other piece that makes your L would be 7.6"(roughly 7 5/8 of an inch) and the same height of 34.5". That type of port gets you tuned to about 33(just under). I also added for .20 in bracing displacements.

Im not the one you want to try to troll. Just a fyi for you.

thanks a bunch!!!! i have a subs up/ports back tuned @ 40hz =148.5 on termlab @ the dash...( my ports are choking) and no lo-lows either...so i think flippin in to a wall should be the wisest and loudest option. you guys agree?
