Charger
It will still work and it MAY not cause any damage but it's a good practice to get in the habit of making good quality earths. Worst case scenario you can get some seriously bad voltage drop causing your amp to blow. Charger
Depends on a lot of things but I never like to gamble especially with something as expensive as car audio. When using $3000+ amps you don't skimp on anything at all. Just do it right the first time and you'll never run into problems later Quote Previous 150+ daily rides: Volvo 240 wagon 2 x DD Audio 9915s walled, Isuzu Trooper 6 x DD Audio 3515s walled clamshell, Lexus LX470 2 x Kicked Solo X 18s, Lexus LS400 4 x American Bass HD18 walled SMD - System of The Month August 2008 My Youtube Videos

Charger
Can be any colour you like as long as it's equal or larger size than your power cable, my earths are blue . Also make the earth as short as possible. How long is it? Torres
will the system still work with the 4GA power cable and 8GA earth?if it will work will it fuck anything up? i believe if you have a small ground wire like your 8ga, then upgrading the power wire to 4ga will do you no good. you can only be as strong as your weakest link, and your weakest link would be your 8ga ground wire. mine is purple so color doesnt matter. but size does
