soundstream15 Posted May 31, 2012 Report Posted May 31, 2012 my friend set my amp up with the dd-1 and its a tad louder but sounds alot better=) so im happy but when setting this up we had to turn the sub level control pretty much all the way up and its on 30 out of 35. i feel like its not putting enough signal to my amp so if i switch to a 4volt head unit would i see a difference?

jeffrm Posted May 31, 2012 Report Posted May 31, 2012 The gain is an adjustment for input voltage. If you get a hu with a higher preout voltage you WILL have to reset everything with dd-1.
