Mikey Bates
well if i get a 3sixty.3 i can split my fronts so i have 4 rcas. o into the 360, and the outs will be to tweets, 4's, 6.5's and subs. and in the program, i can control each speaker and min and max freq. . . . then i need a mono amp, a 4 channel, and 2 channel. this leaves out my back doors. so after the 360, i can split the 6.5 and tweets signals and run them to the back doors with their own 4 channel. summary lol and front and rear arent in perspective of the car, their just a name if that makes sense HU 3 rcas... front split so i have front1, front2, rear, sub 360.3 and all EQs set with that 360.3 outs will be front1 (tweets), front2 (4's), rear (6.5s), sub, (subs lol) lastly split the front1 and rear for the rear doors
IBleedMusick
First off in true sq less is more. Secondly you can run active at the amps you just need an active capable amp and third if you're going to go through the trouble of doing this forget going for true sq because the money it would take to achieve it would make it pointless to have with you wanting to have the "surprise" bass. So do a 3 way set up in the front doors, a 2 way comp set in the rears and 1 nice sq 4 channel amp. Just so you have an idea though Crescendo, Sundown and DC are a few active capable amps. The Soundstreams I am running are also active capable. As for your sub stage I would stick with 1 15 and have a hidden bass knob that you crank for the surprise bass. If you over analyze this you will end up with a shitty sounding system. Not to mention there is no wow in the whole I have a sealed and a ported enclosure in the trunk. If you want to wow port it build it right and use a knob to turn it up. Start playing at low volumes until they look comfortable and then crank it plain and simple. TRTC360
when you see the same person post the same thread more than once, its hard to give advice. Well everyone might have not seen that thread, your post was directed to those trying to help him, not towards the op. IBleedMusick
Actually I have seen all of the I have a dream threads and I comment simply because I like to try and help without crushing anyones dreams doesn't hurt me any to give a little advice here and there and I honestly don't see how my advice was shitty. I told him to steer away from his current idea because it would sound shitty. I then gave him some advice on what he could do and I even answered a few of his questions in the process. Omega5002
To the OP, sounds like you're looking to do an SQL system where you want a lot of bass but want to achieve good sound quality as well. For the SQ aspect of it, you should probably go towards the SQ section of the forum for some tips, and you should also talk to Cablguy too, since he's all for SQ, and he does it very well. I hope you achieve what you're looking for.
