GiAnT4LYFE
I'm trying to figure out how the port length is calculated when it is a center one that needs to bend. Do both sides of the bend get figured into the inches or just one? I'm assuming its both, but I don't really know. And I'm sure that I'm butchering what I'm really trying to say. Hope someone knows what I'm getting at.
HatersGonnaHate
The way I've understood it, is that both sides get calculated into the port length. Just gotta make sure that for a slot port in the middle that bends into each chamber, the port width gets cut in half at the bends. For instance, if the port coming from the front of the box is 4 inches wide, when you go into the bends, the port will be cut down to 2 inches wide going into each chamber. Joe X
You measure along the centerline from the external end to the internal end of either side and that must match the length of the port as indicated in Torres for example.
