DD 3500g 10s Box

Hey all i just ordered 4 DD 3500g 10s Dual 4ohm

Im building a box thats

15.5 tall

36 wide

23 deep

6.01cu

each speaker will get almost 1.25cu a sub which is what DD told me..

im doing 2 6in pvc aero ports

or 4 4in aeros i would like peoples inputs on that but 2 6in seems better port area...

anyone recommend a good tuning to drop low and hit hard on the highs

im thinking about 35-36hz tuned

i will be giving them total about 5k rms...

id try to give them closer to 1.5 net per woofer. DD love air. and love port even moaar. and i cant help you with aeros. always use slot port

Good luck being able to fit those ports in your box....they're each going to need to be over 3ft long.

3ft long? lol please tell me how that would be needed...because ive built plently of aero port boxes with torres box calc and bass box its not wrong

i was thinking about putting on 2 3512s in a box kinda similar to that.

to me if i can find a way to stagger the subs on a 16 tall 36in wide face i would fire them from the trunk into the cabin and port out 6in out each side of the box into the trunk

Even if you could, the integrity of the baffle would be compromised. You could probably make 3 10s and a slot port work pretty well with 36" of area to work with. 2 12s would be idea for that kind of box. Only way I could see you getting away with 4 10s and a box that wide is to go 4th order, but the box is going to need to be a minimum

maybe i could fire 2 subs on each side of the car trunk for unloading and port into the cabin?

or fire the subs up? and port out the side of the box

Dont think it would work well firing into driver and passenger side. Don't know how you would load the subs without damaging them either.
