79 cutty
Early Mom's day celebration for the mother-in-law so I grilled up some bacon wrapped tenderloins with caramelized onions Going to whip up some homemade pitas for gyros tomorrow and some sushi with sake tonight! The sake selection for the night: The 2nd one os WAY too sweet for me, but the wife loves it with some cranberry juice! Firm believer in letting my cars do my talking! You can't rush quality, it doesn't happen overnight. Quality takes time and dedication, but the end results more than pay for it. 79 cutty
Forgot to snap a pic of sushi for dinner, but finished these up and they are setting for a few hours. Dulce de Leche caramel marshmallows. Gotta cut them up and stick them in the freezer to make a little treat for the wife for Mom's day! Not the greatest detail in the pic, but vanilla marshmallow with a layer of Dulce de Leche caramel in the middle. Kids should get nice and messy with these bad boys! LMAO Firm believer in letting my cars do my talking! You can't rush quality, it doesn't happen overnight. Quality takes time and dedication, but the end results more than pay for it. Damn, that's a damn good deal actually. Every place around here for real good sushi you can't walk out for less than $60-80. That is why I have just found it cheaper to make my own. Makes more that way and I can cater to the kids a little bit too that way!Just hard to find quality sushi grade fish to use sometimes! Lol, especially in the winter here in MN!!!! 79 cutty
^ pretty easy to make, just some patients and a candy thermometer needed! I cheated on these and just bought an already made dulce de leche instead of making my own. Here's basically what I followed. Few tweaks, but this is pretty close: http://sweetlifebake.com/2014/12/19/dulce-de-leche-marshmallows/#axzz3ZhOGh7yP Firm believer in letting my cars do my talking!
