Learnin Posted June 7, 2012 Report Share Posted June 7, 2012 say im running 6 12s off one 3500... they are 600 watts each.... if i went to four 12s still 600 watts each but still off a 3500.... im losing cone area but they are being powered more so will that be louder if everything else is the same? ALPINE408 Posted June 7, 2012 Report Share Posted June 7, 2012 I went for 8 18's to 6 and was louder with 6 but the 6 were in more of an optimal box then the 8 don't try and stuff 10 pounds of shit in a 2 pound bag No one can tell you what will be louder but the less amount of subs the more easy it is to work with Have you ever had your woofers blown?
