Nathan @ XSpower
No a 12V or 16V charger will not charge 14v batteries. The voltage charge rate is different. The HF1415 is the only charger that will charge 14v batteries and it acts as a maintainer after the batteries are fully charged. All of our chargers are intellichargers and turn into maintainers after the batteries are fully charged.

corona_jeff
So we should have no problem runnning the intellicharger in the truck at all times and pluging it in at night every week or so? I have mine mounted in the truck and wired to the batts. I just plug it in at nite, or weeks on end if it sets. best charger made, hands down

Nathan @ XSpower
As said above the chargers are designed to allow you to hook the batteries up on the charger and leave them hooked up 365 days a year. The charger kicks over to float charge and simply maintains the battery/batteries.
