stroupe79
I have been mulling over a switch to the SA8v.2 or E8v.2 subs...considering 2 SA8v.2 or 4 E8v.2 would both cost roughly the same and would be powered by a DC 1.2k at 1ohm...I have plenty of space for the box as my current setup is 5cubes just trying to figure out if the 2 SA8v.2's with 600watts each would out perform 4 E8v.2's with 300watts each? any help with recommendation between either setup would be great thanks Quote http://www.stevemead...cherokee-build/ 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee Alpine CDE-hd148bt Alpine PKG-RSE2 PRV Audio (4) 6MB200 front/rear doors PRV Audio (4) TW350Ti dash/rear doors Kicker KX350.4 Obsidian Audio (1) 18 D4 v2 revamp (2) Stereo Integrity HT 18d2DC Audio 1.2k5.25ft^3 tuned @34hz revamp Infinite Baffle Cpillar AudioTechnix 60mil deadenerKnuKonceptz & SkyHigh wire (complete setup)
BobbyG2
If you want better Sound quality and low end extention, I'd go with the SA8. If you want louder, with a relatively high F3, I'd go with the E8. Quote *New vehicle and system coming soon.*
stroupe79
...just wondering because I have not had a chance to hear any setups running the E8s... ant the ninja
My friend has 2 E8 V2's in a horrible box (our first self built box with a terrible design we came up with) The box is sealed under his seat in his F150 and the box is just awful but the subs still get down, I like them. If it was me, I'd go for the SA8's though, those things are beasts. Quote 2002 Ford Explorer XLT Front Stage: Crescendo CCX 6.5's Rear Stage: ???
