andym85
whats the displacement of the subs? you just gotta play with some numbers....get some rough external dimensions...then subtract 1.5" from all of them (assuming ur using .75"wood)....multiply h x w x d...then take that number and divide it by 1728...that will give you your internal volume....just make sure sure you have the added volume to take into account sub displacement... andym85
its really not that hard...say each sub displaces .1 cubic foot for example... your external dimensions are 15"h 25"w 20"deep... subtract 1.5" from everything for internal dimensions....13.5"h 23.5"w 18.5"d multiply: 13.5*23.5*18.5 = 5869.125 divide: 5869.125/1728 = about 3.4cubes subtract sub displacement: 3.4-.2 = 3.2cubes net Quote i likes me some audio stuff... Chris D
ok, then what are the maximum dimensions that you want to take up in your vehicle, length width and height, for the box.
