i building a system for my friend and i am going to sell him one of my onx1.1500. he says that he wants to go to the 2000. i don't want him to think that i am just trying to sell my amp because i don't think the 500 watts makes a diff. but i'm not sure.

I think from 1500 to 2000 you might notice a difference by ear, but the more power you go up, the less you will notice it. Very quick diminishing returns.

fuck the plating. look at what the main metal used is. you could buy unicorn blood plated terminals but if its just covering up dog shit, whats the point

I'll admit, half way through sanding that fiberglass in the rain and cold while I was all itchy I was definitely starting to question why i was doing this haha

1500 to 2000 IF you noticed any difference it would be a very small one. I'd be surprised if you could even hear anything noticable though. And unless your friend is planning on backing up those 2000 watts with a good electrical system then there will be no difference at all. 1500 watts is pushin it on stock electrical

The only time there will be a significant difference between 1500W and 2000W is if the 1500W isn't enough to move the subs you have efficiently.

I'm gonna hate

In theory double the power =3 dbs. so 33% more power = 1 decibel. in theory that is

this is what i was thinking. he's using 4 boss 15s (don't say it it's what he got).

the 1500w is PLENTY for the boss subs.

i bet they are the phantom series.. hold a whopping 250 300w per

you wont hear a difference from 1500 to 2000w .. bc if you dont have the electrical to supply either choice..the 2000 will suffer alot more

so i got the first part. now i see a few people talked about electrical. does that mean if he had the proper electrical system the 500watts would make a difference?
