For any of you that live in South Carolina or close to Myrtle beach I am looking for best area to stay in that area that is either beach front of walking distance to beach.

What things would you recommend as highlights in the area?

I know I could do a google search but actually hearing from people that have been there or live there is a lot better way to find out how to best make use of my time while I am there.

Not sure what the name of the hotel is, but there is a hotel on the property at Broadway at the Beach. Great hotel and right there within walking distance of all the bars.

I have never remembered any of my trips to myrtle beach i am of no help here.
