High end euro sports vehicle questions *steve chime in*

Recommended Posts

Im looking at purchasing a porsche cayenne turbo from a dealer at home. Nice vehicle good price, my question to those of you who drive/own high end euro cars is about maintenence. Do i really have to take it to specific euro vehicle mechanic shops for any repairs/maintenence? I was wondering if Mr. Meade has to take his lexus to certain shops or if doing the normal maintenence and repairs are do-able by myself? Any help would be appreciated.

dealers arent always the best. I would find a Porsche technician and stick with him.

I would find a good tech for major repairs. Im asking about things like a brake pads, im sure they dont sell pads at autozone haha. And oil changes, ive changed oil on some pain in the arse vehicles, is it something i'd have to take to a tech or is that something that could be done in my garage by me?

The best thing about going to the dealer is with more expensive vehicles they not only give you a courtesy vehicle to drive any and all work "They" do at the dealer is covered so if they screw it up you are not ass out like you would if chico n dem did it because you thought they were specialist for your vehicle. I agree the dealer sucks sometimes but they usually cover preventive maintenance anyway so no need to even come out of pocket.
