I did an install for a friend of mines and he installed a BRZ 1700 with 2 12 L7 with a cheapo 25 dollar amp kit from ebay so after some long lecturing I convinced him to get some cadence 0 AWG (I know its not OFC but for him it was good enough) Any ways I did the Big 3 for him and ran the new power and made a huge difference. After that his stock battery or alt was no where near good enough. His knowledgeable friends suggested him to get a capacitor for the dimming lights. So when I heard this I convinced him that nothing would help unless he got a H/O alt but he wanted a little help in the mean time so I told him that a small Kinetik would run him less than 80 bucks and would help stabilize his voltage a bit. He got it and I installed it and WOW. He used to turn his radio up to 50 and after the battery install at 42 it sounded just as loud. It helped so much. The bass is a lot deeper and the highs are so much clear and crisp. Just thought Id share my experience because when I did my first install which was not too long ago I got a Kinetik for under the hood, I didn't know it made such a difference. Thanks Guys

RAM5493 Posted June 30, 2012 Author Report Posted June 30, 2012 sounds good dude I know the big 3 helped a bunch also Definitely did man but the battery and alt were not near enough for the amp but that little bastard fills the gap a bit... its so freaking small I'm so surprised at the punch it packs.

RAM5493 Posted July 2, 2012 Author Report Posted July 2, 2012 you added a battery for the trunk or your replaced the cars batt? also which kinetic did u get My friend just added a a Kinetik in the trunk and it was a HC800. Made a huge difference.
