If you want headroom for more power on the amp you could also get the 3.5K and turn the gain to the point where you get around 1800 rms @ 1 ohm. The electrical wont have to be as beefed up as if you were to go all the way to the amps potential. when you start craving more bass you can add another sub and some more batts and use the same amp to power them. Just food for thought

I would like to challenge that statement, obviously theres alway going to be a more expensive amp than sundown but there is also cheaper. If you look at what AMI stated almost 9K for less than $1600. Also If all amps were around the price range Crescendo wouldnt be a favorite for people with budgets. Not saying anything negative just that theres always differences not in just price but also quality. Myself i rather pay a few extra for good quality.

IMO i think they are priced fairer, they are very powerful batteries and have great simple designs I am a fan of both Kinetik and XS but if priced close enough I go with XS.

I understand the cost effective side of it but the difference between the D3100 and the XP 3000 is D3100 237 RC 110Ah XP3000 240 RC 120Ah Basically I just would like to know if the XP series would have more voltage drop? or is it more capable of sustaining voltage over long periods of playing full tilt? Im still a little bit confused sorry.

Ive just been reading people saying that the XP series is better than D series for daily set ups. I know that they can't be used for primaries but i would like to know the reasoning for this. Do the XP series have a longer life? are they easier to charge hence are easier on the alt?

I see 3 things wrong with whats going on with the whole situation: 1. It is not the football players nor the students faults hence they should not be affected. 2. Joe Patterno is being made the villain and the only man mentioned when the scandal happened. Many people knew what was happening and shut their faces just like him but nowhere are they mentioned at all its all about the media. Sandusky the perpetrator isn't even mentioned sometimes like wtf who was the one rapping the kids? plus if I was to witness with my own eyes someone raping a defenseless kid 1 I would beat them to a coma and the 2 I would report him to the cops. The kid saw it went home told his father and they discussed it and then went to JoePa, but none of this is mentioned at all. Plus countless other staff knew what was happening and shut it. 3. If the man paid for facilities with his own earnings and they are so ashamed of the situations then knock the facilities down and build new ones don't rename them and think that its okay to keep using them and feel like its okay because its not named after him. I just know the man first hand and I know people that graduated and became who they are today because of the man they still to this day go to his wifes house to thank her for what they did. The situation is being handled wrong thats all i feel. and personally if I graduated and all my funds came from JoePa I would not erase it from my resume and go work at a clothing store I would still feel thankful for the opportunity given to me to graduate.

Rockford T500-1bdcp would power it nicely to both 2 or 1 ohm but i think it would run you like 280 or so
