From what your saying I imagine looks are not an issue, because my idea, as I imagine, would look quite ugly. If your looking for something less ugly, you can buy sheets of vinyl in lots of colors, it could work as headliner if you have leather, or if you have suede/microfiber you might also be able to buy a sheet.
