Owned probably a dozen of them and they'll take some abuse but I've never been able to get them to take a solid 750 RMS each and last more than a couple months at the longest. I have two of them still in my girlfriends car that I need to take to Best Buy to have them swap out under warranty as they have yet again blown. I wouldn't suggest a nood running an amp @ .5 unless it's rated for .5....
