bad_ass_car
maybe build a riser to lift the amp up off of the floor so it can at least breath Quote i'm new to the spl world and loving it!!!4- power acoustik mofo 152srd d9
Mikey Bates
theres no room, it would basically be carpet on all sides, and seat over it. maybe ill build a new box in the futre that is taller and say even like 4" short (that would help me with room
bad_ass_car
i would just mount them to the back of the seats myself Quote i'm new to the spl world and loving it!!!4- power acoustik mofo 152srd d9
Mikey Bates
how about to the box? yes i know its eh but i could put another piece of mdf, with some 1" spacers maybe like 3" at the bottom for slight angle, and mount to that? mttornquist
I would put a piece of mdf parallel to the front of your box with a small gap between it and the box to limit vibrations. Then you can mount your amps on there and paint or upholster it up nice. And when you fold down the seats to lay stuff on. Edit: ninja'd haha Edited July 2, 2012 by mttornquist Quote My Build Log: http://www.stevemead...lmost-complete/

Thats an option or if you just add fans and vent out to the sides and mount under the rear seats. The amps in my Tahoe are mounted under the rear seats and they never get too hot to touch.
