well my question is whats the best eq you can get for a cheap price. ive seen some for like 50 bucks like the clarion eqs746. i wanted to know if its worth it to get one and if it makes a difference. right now i have stock head unit with line out converter powering one alpine pdx 1.1000 for my sub and one 2.150 for my back.

The clarion makes one hell of a difference. Best bang for the buck in my opinion.

That exact 746 is superb for the price, it also acts as a powerful line driver (up to 7 Volts output). BUT I would just ditch the HU, most of them have some EQ features and overall better sound.
