alaskanzx5
i think some of the t4000bd do more at 2ohms then 1ohm but they all very a little in rms output. ive heard of them getting up to 5200rms. im actualy in the market for one to power 4 12s. with the 1 battery in the bank i would say he might have voltage drop depending on his alt, stock battery and if he has the big 3 done or not. ask about his voltage, just so that if you do buy it you know how well it was treated. t1500bdcp 2 t2d4 15" 1 t600.4 1 t400.2 1 set p1 tweets singer alt, tons of wiring, smd vm-1, 80prs, back seat delete, still in the works, aiming for a 145-147 with the ability to play 25hz up to 50hz. Kranny
solo x wont handle over 2500w for daily. 5000 is for burps. t4000's probably are around 4500w, maybe up to 5000 if you get a lucky amp
TeamHT
It's possible the amp wasn't even wired that low, so 2,000 watts is 2,000 watts. The size of the battery is another factor, and hell...he may have ample alternator output. To answer your question, the amp does 4,000 watts. I hope you have stout electrical, I've owned 5 and loved every single one of them Tell me...does this smell like chloroform to you?
alaskanzx5
^^ and this guy knows what he is talking about. the amp is rated at 4000rms but rockford under rates them. ive heard of them getting up to 5200 but i think the more common is around 4700 t1500bdcp 2 t2d4 15" 1 t600.4 1 t400.2 1 set p1 tweets singer alt, tons of wiring, smd vm-1, 80prs, back seat delete, still in the works, aiming for a 145-147 with the ability to play 25hz up to 50hz. MD7786
Well i was looking at these 2 2500 psi 12s and at 2 rf 2500. Think the 4000 would do just as good. And i have a jl 1000/1 now and it is power hungry. Same with 2500 and 4000???
