Fried Amp Guts

How in the world!?!?

Makes me wonder what went first, the caps or the mosfets.... and resistors just GONE.

The story behind this is I needed a bigger amp so I stupidly traded my Kicker KX 850.2 for this pile. Get home to hook up and starts to smell like shit. No smoke at all. So I was confused later to find out the guy I bought it from sold me a bad amp.

blew the main capacitors

Your guess is as good as mine. I'm new to actually understanding the parts to an amp.

my guess is the capacitors went 1st the corrosion by the mosfets makes me think that , quite possibly could be that the electrolytic goo from the bad/bursted capacitors shorted or bridged paths causing a series of other failures
