wall port area

Recommended Posts

more info is required,

what subs?

amp?

power?

what do you want it tuned to?

what do you want to achieve?

another thing i think you have forgotten,

unless you use 3/4mdf you will not fit 2 subs high in 33"

and 3/4" will not cut it, youll need at least 1" if not 1.5"

39" wide minus 32" for subs, only leaves you 7", minis port walls leaves you with 1-6" (depending on wall thickness) witch is not enough youll need at least 7x30 or 7x31.5 if not 8" wide

With a 39 x 33 baffle, you are going to be limited to less than optimal port area. Looks like you might squeeze a 36" x 5" port in there.

Maybe you can angle the top and bottom in towards the subs to gain a little more area.

Current system:

1997 Blazer - (4) Customer Fi NEO subs with (8) American Bass Elite 2800.1s

Previous systems:

2000 Suburban - (4) BTL 15's and (4) IA 40.1's = 157.7 dB at 37 Hz.

1992 Astro Van - (6) BTL 15's and (6) IA 40.1's = 159.7 dB at 43 Hz.
