Hay guys. I have a sundown e12 in a 2cub at 35hrz and everytime I play bass I love you or some decaf.I bottom out or get very little output. Is it becouse I am tuned to high. I am running it off a 81000d at 2ohms. Any help would be great thanks.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say that the majority of Bass, I Love You is below 35Hz. Playing below box tuning will cause unloading, so essentially the woofer would behave as if it would free-air. You don't want that...

Are you sure you are running the amp @ 2ohms? I thought sundowns E12 was a dual 2ohm coil.

ok, so triple RMS power with the box on the large side of recommended. I'm going to go with working as intended. As Silvia pointed out playing below tuning + the extra power + high side on the enclosure, sure your gonna bottom out on those really low notes.

Thnx Tarball I get what your saying. It is a lot of power. I will be getting a sa-15 dual 4 soon. But on box size, its the sundown e recomended encloser size and tuneing for that sub. I probably should have built it to 1.8 cubes for that power I guess. Lol

First of all that song hits a very stupid low note so you wouldn't get much output anyways. If you play that song at high volume most people would bottom out. Just don't play that song.

And the fact more than one person agrees does not make it a circle jerk, it makes it a bukkake scene and you're in the middle ;)

Chick took 3 shots of Jager, and then, pissed in my mouth..
