Nikitaaa
Hey guys, I was reading a thread about a member of this site not having voltage drop when it was evident that voltage drop should be present. I have a Rockford t1000-1bdcp on my two sa-8 v1.5 along with my mbquart 4.125. My electrical consists of a very small stinger agm up front and stock alt, big 3, 0/1 all around My amp is currently wired to 2 ohms nominal but I have literally .1 voltage drop while driving. Amps are set at -5 with dd-1. Theoretically, I should have around 150 amps of draw with my 90amp alt. I UNDERSTAND I HAVE THE CP MODEL. But if rise is so high that I'm in the 4ohm rage, it shouldn't make a difference. Should I drop to .5ohm? Nikitaaa
no Okay, thanks n8. I'm curious as to why though? Just not worth the risk? Guest
no Okay, thanks n8. I'm curious as to why though? Just not worth the risk? its just gonna protect cause of low ohm load. plus if you blow it, you're stuck with a $400 repair bill or an expensive ass paper weight

I guess I'll just accept that my amps have a small footprint. It's a daily driver system, so I'm not going to even worry about rise. Nikitaaa
Wired to 2, you might be rising to 6ohm. My box is rather on the small side due to the amount of power I'm giving the woofers. Wouldn't that help eliminate rise?
